Spiritual Markers

Habakkuk 2:2
And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.

Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord

One major reason we take pictures is to keep records of memories of things done in the past. Pictures are like markers that serves as memory juggler in other to value and appreciate growth and development which has taken place. 
The old testament folks are primarily people who value using spiritual markers as a way of remembering their encounters with God; they set up alters, stones which stood has a prophetic act for the generations to come. God also told Moses also to write down the experiences the Israelites had so as to serve as a memorial for them and the generations after them
The Old Testament experiences serves has example for us (Rom.15:4).  
It is important for us has Christians to have markers that will remind us of the goodness of God and also write down the prophetic words that have gone ahead of us. Paul told Timothy to note the prophecies that had gone before him in other to wage a good warfare of faith (1Tim 1:18).. 
Your testimonies, stands has a prophetic act for yourself and others to experience God’s goodness again. The prophecies spoken to you are markers that reveals the intent of God for you – note them down.
