Just Keep Doing Good

Galatians 6:9

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Help is difficult in this age and time we are in, because of the state of insecurity, manipulations and untrustworthiness in our community. This has made many skeptical and unwilling to help even if they want to. In fact offering to welcome strangers into our homes is a tough challenge.

God’s expection always is that we walk before him in obedience, to love him and to serve him. The answer to living this out is seen in our text, we are not give up yet in helping people, in fact he promises that if we are not tired of doing good we will reap in due season.

It is important for us to know that has believers our thought pattern should be as that of Christ. The community we live in may speak other wise and might not afford for much of this that the Bible instructs us on. However, you just have to help because it’s an instruction. With careful leadings and perception from the Spirit we also can live out our love for God by offering helps in various ways as best as we can to people near us.

God wants us to extend our care and hospitality to a hurting world.
