Peace with God

Romans 5:1

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Some believers still find it difficult to take hold on the word of God, to know that God is at peace with them. This has affected how we pray and how we relate to him as Father. Chapter 4:25 of Romans says, he was delivered up for our offences and raised up for Justification.

The word “justification” in the Greek word means to be pronounced righteous or to be discharged. This is why chapter 5 begins with therefore being Justified by faith… Our faith believes that Christ died and was raised up from the dead for us to be declared right. Our Justification through Christ makes us to be at peace with God. See this Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God. The implication of this is that God relate with us as a Father, therefore we can boldly approach him with gladness because we are no longer strangers and also be rest assured that He will welcome you.

See what John said. 1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. How do we know we have this confidence, it is because we have eternal life, we are Justified so we can say we have what ever we ask.

Don’t push yourself away saying you are not worthy, God has made you worthy through the blood of Christ. You are at peace with God. You are not condemned but Justified. Keep saying this till the reality is dawn in you.
