God is Good
1 John 3:8
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might the works of the devil.
If my earthly father would to me what may people think God does to His children, I will doubt if he is truly my father. In fact he will be arrested for child abuse if I cry out.
People say God is Good, yet they credit Him with a lot sicknesses, diseases and say He is behind all the natural disasters in the world. What they don’t realize is that they embrace a hellish situation in their lives because of the thought that God intended it for good.
This kind of mindset and thinking causes us to forget who the real enemy is and what or who we are actually fighting against. Jesus is the perfect Revelation of the Father (Jn.1:1, Col.1:15, Heb.1:3), and the Bible records that He came that we night have life and have it in abundance. But what the devil cane to do is to kill, destroy and kill (Jn.10:10).
Jesus thought is how to recognize the works of darkness and showed us how to destroy them. We shouldn’t allow the devil shut our eyes away from what the nature of God is, it is time to re-examine our belief system and find out what the Bible really teaches about the nature of God. God is Good!
CONFESSION
I believe God is light and there is no darkness in Him, therefore my understanding is good and not evil.
