Faith Restored
January 2020 started on what one might call a sad note for me, I remember waking up most times feeling depressed, frustrated & weak then on the 30th/31st of January, 2020, the devotional gave a message on facing one’s fear via the text ” 2 Timothy 1:7”, I can state categorically that that was the beginning of my breakthrough because the Holy Spirit spoke to me and i then came to the realisation that I have nothing to lose but everything to gain as long as I remain steadfast in Christ with Faith as a believer. Through this message, I began to work consciously on myself to face my fears and grow in Christ. Looking back now, I am sincerely grateful to the Faith Life Devotional for that message because I am now in a better place with my relationship with God.
Another testimony is that of a friend who keyed into the faith life message I shared via my WhatsApp status, it was a message on faith and though he did not tell me at the time, however he shared his testimony when we eventually saw each other physically and informed me of how he had lost his faith in God due to the circumstances he was surrounded with at the time but after reading the devotional message & praying, his spirits were lifted and afterwards he received a word of guidance from the Holy Spirit which helped him manage the circumstances that was weighing him down.
Over the year, the faith life devotional has been a huge blessing to my life because its words not only speaks to my situation, it also encourages, motivates & draws me closer to God on days that I am weak.
