Strengthen Others

By Tayo Adesugba

Devotional Reading: “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” — Luke 22:32 (KJV)

It is imperative to know that God’s mandate doesn’t change for one’s life. From our text, Jesus in spite of the fall He foretells Peter about, He goes further to put the responsibility of strengthening his fellow Apostles on him.

The assignment has not changed. Get strengthened for the work God has committed into your hands. The gospel prospers in your hands.

This goes further to show that God is ever present to help you back on your feet and strengthen others also when on your feet.

The goal of Christ is to have a strong army. For weak men are made strong to strengthen others. Indeed, this is how God uses men.

Prayer and Confession
Jesus help me not to fail in my responsibility in strengthening others. Amen!
