Everlasting Strength

Devotional Reading: “Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26:4 KJV

At certain aspects of human life, especially in the area of our daily jobs, we get so acquainted to it that we already become masters and even consultant in it. That is a good one as God desires we be the best in all that we do and not live as a mediocre. However, as believers, we are called into a life of dependency on God, our mind should always stay on God.

It was reported about Titanic ship to be so perfected and everything needed to be in place were intact and the owners could boldly say, “Not even God can sink the ship.” You and I know what ended it. Every believer must put absolute trust in God alone, remembering that arm of flesh could fail, only God is invincible and by whose strength we live.

Trust not only in your academic prowess, riches, social status etc. As good as they are, they are not the source of our being and strength as believers. Trust in the Lord forever.

Prayer and Confession
The lord is the strength of my life, in him I can face all situations and remain victorious.
