The Resurrection Means You Have a New Operating System

Key Text: “But God, who is rich in mercy… hath quickened us together with Christ… and hath raised us up together…” Ephesians 2:4-6

The resurrection of Jesus is not just proof that He is powerful. It is proof that you are no longer running on the old life system. Many believers treat resurrection like a church history topic, something we celebrate with nice clothes and rice. But resurrection is not just an event. Resurrection is a reality. When Jesus rose, it was not only Jesus that came out of the grave. A new kind of humanity came out. The resurrection was God launching a new creation. That is why the Bible says we were raised together with Him. Meaning, the believer is not just forgiven.

Think of it like this. If your phone is hanging, you can keep pressing it and pressing it, but it will still misbehave. Sometimes what you need is a full restart or even a new software. That is what resurrection did. It did not patch up your old life. It gave you a brand new life. Many Christians still try to live the Christian life with human strength, human discipline, and human energy. That is why they get tired quickly. They are using Android charger on iPhone. They are using old batteries on a new device. Resurrection means you are now powered by the life of Christ, not by your own willpower. Christianity is not self improvement. It is Christ expression.

Resurrection teaches you that you must stop expecting yourself to live like Christ without depending on Christ. Your new life is not sustained by vibes and motivational quotes. It is sustained by the Spirit of God. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is not a visitor in your life. It is a resident. You are a product of resurrection. That means your story can never end in defeat. Resurrection is your spiritual DNA.

Prayers and Confession
Father, I thank You for the resurrection life of Jesus in me. I declare that I am raised with Christ and I walk in newness of life. I am not powerless, I am not empty, I am not defeated. The Spirit of God energizes me daily. I live above sin, fear, and discouragement. In Jesus name, Amen.
