The Spirit of Truth

Devotional Reading: “And I will pray the father, and he shall give you a comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; even the spirit of truth; John 14:16-17KJV
Because of the wicked and unkind world that we live in and even in time where injustice and cruelty prevails, we all need a friend. That friend that we can trust to be there for us and stand by us through thick and thin. That friend that has the ability to comfort even in the trying moments of our lives.
The spirit of truth ‘the holy spirit’ is that dependable friend that we can all count on as believers. Feel free to confide in him, let him be the one to bear the weight of your burden. Don’t bear it all alone, Christ has sent him for that purpose.
The Holy Spirit is there to provide all the help and support you can ever need in life. Let him help and guide you through it all. Do not frustrate his effort over your life. Hand it all over and see how easier it all gets.
Prayer and Confession
Holy Spirit, I can’t do it all alone, I ask that you please help me walk through these times. Amen
