Revelation that Spreads Influence

Devotional Reading: “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” – Proverbs 25:2

Sometimes, Christians think revelation is just about shouting “I see in the spirit!” and making people clap. But revelation is more practical than that. Revelation is when God opens your eyes to see what others cannot see, so you can do what others cannot do. It can come in form of ideas, insights, wisdom or dreams and vision given by God.

Joseph did not just interpret Pharaoh’s dream for fun; he gave a solution that saved an entire nation from famine. That wisdom did not stay private, it influenced Egypt, surrounding nations, and even Joseph’s own family. Revelation is contagious when it spreads from your life to impact others.

If you carry light, people around you should be able to see better because of you. Your ideas, wisdom or insight are not meant to end in your notebook; they are meant to shape how people live, work, and think. Noah’s ark was not just a family project, it became the survival plan for creation. Daniel’s revelation about Nebuchadnezzar’s dream didn’t only make him famous, it shifted policies in Babylon. In the same way, when God drops an idea in your spirit for your business, family, or ministry, it is not only for your comfort, it is meant to spread hope, wisdom, and influence like perfume in a crowded bus.

One of the biggest mistakes believers make is hoarding divine ideas. Some say, “Ah, this is just for me,” but light does not shine for itself, it shines for others. When your life is contagious, your revelations inspire faith in others, your solutions spark creativity in colleagues, and your kindness spreads like ripples on water. That is how God uses one man’s obedience to change a whole community. The question is not, “Did God speak to me?” The question is, “Who else will be transformed because I obeyed?”

So, revelation is not complete until it becomes contagious. When people can say, “Because of her faith, I now see differently” or “Because of his wisdom, I found a way out,” then you are truly shining as light. Your revelations must carry impact beyond your personal life; they should birth innovations that others can touch and solutions that others can live by. That is how we shine in a dark world, not just with words, but with contagious influence.

Prayer and Confession
Lord, thank You for making me a carrier of contagious revelation. From today, my life will not hoard Your wisdom but spread it. I declare that my obedience will inspire others, my revelations will bring solutions, and my influence will shine Your light to everyone around me, in Jesus name. Amen!
