Peaceful Always

Psalms 23:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

The world we live in is full of unrest. This is a time where many who are not very rooted in God are easily carried away by life challenges. Let me remind you that there’s no place written in the scriptures that says we won’t face life’s challenges as Christians. However, the good news is that, because of our unwavering faith in Christ, we will not be overcomed by it -we fight from a victory stand (John 16:33, Isa 43:2,1Jhn 5:4).

Our opening text started with “even though”, meaning its a reality that points to something different from expected circumstances. However, inasmuch as the Lord is our Shepherd, the path might seem dark; a child of God has nothing to fear cos God is ever present with us and we have his word that he’ll not forsake us (Heb 13:5&6), so we can be at peace always. May I also remind you that God has never lost a battle and he will not experiment with our case..

See Jesus’ word to the disciples in Jn. 14:27 Amp “Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.].”
