Identity in Christ

Galatians 3:27
” For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”

We must understand that basically we didn’t just get born again, or we just believed the gospel, beyond that, something great and miraculous happened to us.
And that’s our identification with Christ, our union with Christ… 2Cor. 5:17, “if any man is in Christ…” The believer is not just a common or ordinary man, he is a man created in the nature, likeness of God. He is as Christ is. 1Jn. 5:17.
The believer is an heir of God together with Christ, he has access to all the inheritance provided to the New man, ” And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” (Romans 8: 17)
Just imagine a child whose father has willed all of his property to and he never knew the property was his, he somehow live like a slave though a child.
A believer must always yearn to understand and come to the accurate and precise knowledge that all things of Christ has been willed to and is in him.
We must constantly let this sink in heart, till it becomes a revelation to us that we are supernatural beings. We are identified together with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection and much more in his glory, and in his glory is all this benefit rot in us, forgiveness, righteousness, healing, freedom. Hallelujah!
