Give and You will Receive
Luke 6:38 (NLT)
“Give and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in fullpressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.

Having grown up in a religious environment, today’s passage is one I often hear, on Sunday’s and mid week services during offering time. The Holy spirit is bringing this your way today so you could know one of the principles for kingdom living aside the erroneous perspective religion handed to us.
Going through the context of the opening scripture (read from verses 27 to 38), you’ll discover there’s no mention of money or kindness being done unto God but rather, all that was mention was in relation to fellow man. Verse 31 “do to others as you would like them to do to you”. Now, ask yourself, have I been good, loving, helpful to others as I have been praying to get from people around me?”.
Some things really do not answer to prayer, instead it does to the understanding and application of God’s word, so rise today, give love, kindness, support and every other thing you desire from others and it shall be given back unto you in good measure till it overflow. Until you give, you are not entitled to receive.
