Face the Fear

2Timothy 1:7
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity…”

They say one of the ways to tackle fear is to actually face it “face your fear” and even one of the recurring instructions in the scriptures both in the Old and New testament is the sentence “fear not”.
Fear is a weapon the enemy uses in making a believer doubt his capability of doing what God has entrusted him to do especially in the aspect of administering the things of the Spirit. Jesus has told us to cast out devil’s, heal the sick and work miracles.
Someone asked me “what if I lay my hands on the sick and they didn’t get well?” And I said what if they do. Fear prompted this young man to ask such question. The believer actually has nothing to lose but everything to gain because what he does is acting in simple obedience to the words of Christ and also when they get healed or delivered, God gets all the glory.
Believers should be overwhelmed to minister of the things things of the Spirit, face the fear headlong, that’s how to actually win and the devil becomes nervous.
CONFESSION
I’m of faith and not of fear
I minister the things of the Spirit in
obedience to Christ’s commands
Amen!
You are blessed!
