A Lifestyle of Faith 2
2 Corinthians 5:7
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
There should be an understanding that faith his meant to be lived out and acted upon. The challenge is always that we look too much to the outside than on the inside of us. We always think we could perceive or feel the way results was going to come from God to us.
But, it doesn’t work that way, faith is not perception, faith is believing something existed without you seeing or feeling it. In this case, your words and action must agree, just like salvation. Romans 10:10 “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Here, we see that the action which is to believe agrees with the mouth to confess.”
Some in one minute can confess their healing from the scriptures and in few minutes believe the doctors report because he has not seen the result of what he believed and confessed physically.
Every aspect of the Christian life is a faith life. Galatians 3:11 “But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.”
Agreeing mentally to what God said about us, is not enough. We must act it out, we must act like the word is true. if the word says you were healed, then you are healed and not you will be healed. Faith tells you it’s a present reality.
CONFESSION
I live by faith always
I believe what the word of God said concerning me.
Amen!
