Praise Him in the Storm

James 1:2 TPT
My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can!

Many times we find ourselves so choked up with challenges and issues of life. And it seems to me that one of the most difficult thing to do during these periods is to praise God or give God thanks. The reason for this is because we have learned that praise and thanksgiving is only offered when we see result or receives something from God. We haven’t being trained to see praise has a substance of faith, just has Kenneth Hagin will describe praise as an expression of our faith.

Habbakuk wrote, “Though the cherry trees don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen, though the apples are warm-eaten and the wheat fields, though the sheep pens are shapeless and the cattle barns empty, I’m singing joyful praise to God. I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my saviour God. Counting on God’s Rule to prevail, I take heart and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I’m king of the mountain! MSG.

So, all you need do is to express your faith in praise.  “See it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy” like James says. Praise Him in the midst of the storm and see the magnificent act of God in the situation.

CONFESSION

I am joyful always even in the midst of my difficulty
My faith is expressed in praise always to Him.
Amen
