Walking In Truth

3 John 3-4
For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
It’s a thing of joy, when you see believers grow in the knowledge of the truth of God’s word. It’s a delight to God himself and even the will of God. ” Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2: 4).

And this is a desire every one must have, to also grow in the knowledge of the truth. It is one thing to come to the Knowledge of the truth it is another thing to walk in the truth. John said he has a greater joy hearing his children walk in truth.

Do you know, you can know about Jesus and the whole of the scripture, but not walk in the reality of it? Paul said ” As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:” (Colossians 2: 6). It means you know about the Gospel, preach it, you know how holy you are, be holy in your conduct. That is walking in the truth of what you know.

So have this in mind, it is not only to know the truth but to also walk in the truth and that is maturity.

CONFESSION

I walk in the truth and its reality
Amen!
