Faith filled Confessions 3
Mark 11:23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Declare this
I will never defeat myself by forecasting failure. I don’t entertain pessimism about any of my life’s plans. Jesus has given me some great assurances about life. He declares, ‘For every one that asketh receiveth …’ (Matthew 7:8). That includes me. I know I am receiving those good and necessary things from the Lord because I have asked Him. Therefore, I am receiving, for His promise contains no exceptions. I am carefree about the future for I have joyfully cast all of my cares upon Him who really cares for me. I am sure that God supplies all of the money I need—in plenty of time to meet my needs.
I am keeping my mind stayed upon the Lord, and He is keeping me in perfect peace. I fully expect ‘things to work out,’ for I delight myself in the Lord, and He gives me the desires of my heart (Psalm 37:4).
Jesus said, ‘Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee’ (Matthew 8:13). And I believe that right things work out for me. I reject negative confessions of doubt, fear and uncertainty. The Lord is giving me victory and peace in all situations. The Lord shall fight for me, and I shall hold my peace
I never expect bad experiences any time of the year. I am not a fair weather Christian. I live boldly by the Word of God. My joy is full because of what the Lord is doing for me. He said, ‘Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full’ (John 16:24). My joy is full—in any seasons of the year—for I ask Him and I receive from Him.
I believe the Lord’s ability to keep me in good health is not limited to certain seasons, for He is ‘… the same yesterday, and today, and forever’. The Lord will do as much for me one day as He will for another —for I ask Him and I receive from Him.
Praise the Lord, I don’t live by my feelings, for they change like the weather. I live by faith, which is living by the Word of God. Why should I take the sickness when Jesus Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses? (Matthew 8:17). I am not trying to take anything since Jesus took it for me. I resist taking anything the devil would put upon me. I shall live in the victory of His substitutionary sacrifice. Jesus is my sin substitute and my sickness substitute. I praise His name for what He has wrought for me.
