I’m Forgiven 2
Ephesians 1:7 KJV
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
I saw every bad thing happening to me as a punishment and discipline from God for the sins I have committed, in fact for both the once I religiously confessed with fasting and praying and the ones I didn’t confess, I saw all those bad things as God chastening me. In my ignorance I accepted those bad occurrences as a training to wean my heart and body from sinning. I will tell my folks not to try to pray for me but to just let me serve the punishment. Anytime I tried to approach God, it was never with boldness — I was always filled with guilt.
I have always thought for God to forgive me or any other person, it always have to be by the above processes not until I heard what God’s forgiveness really meant. It sound so good to be true that God wiped my slate clean and forgave me on the basis of His blood even before I was conceived in my mother’s womb. It sounds so good to be true that God’s pattern of discipline is not inflicting me with sicknesses and bad occurrences. It sound so good to be true that the blood of Christ is eternally potent covering for all my past, present and future sins. It sound so good to be true that it is until I accept and acknowledge that he already Forgave, that is when I can enjoy His love and His numerous promises and not live in guilt and fear and can face the real enemy the devil who comes to kill and to destroy.
The day I accepted this good news, a scale fell off me. My boldness was rekindled, I saw all my rights and privileges in Christ that guilt, fear and condemnation had blindfolded me from. I saw my health and prosperity that Satan had hindered me from getting. I knew I WAS FORGIVEN.
See Paul’s statement again as it is rendered in the Message translation — “Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people—FREE OF PENALTIES AND PUNISHMENTS CHALKED UP BY ALL OUR MISDEEDS. And not just barely free, either. ABUNDANTLY FREE! (Eph. 1:7)
All of the riches of Salvation are wrought in our understanding of God’s forgiveness. We must keep hearing it, we must keep saying it, we must allow it to keep ringing in our heart that I’M FORGIVEN.
Hallelujah!!
CONFESSION
Thank God for the Blood of Jesus

Hallelujah!!
