God’s Word Gets You Going
Devotional Reading: Because your words are my deepest delight, I didn’t give up when all else was lost. Psalms 119:92 TPT
When trouble comes your way, it’s not the time to let go of the Word or drop your faith. Keep believing! The only sure way to do that is to keep reading and meditating the Word. Nothing but the Bible has the promise or power of God’s truth. In the midst of your questions and fears, you can cling to God’s Word, it offers answers and solutions to them. All of the time spent reading and meditating on the Bible will settle you. It will establish your path. Like the Psalmist says, “Because your words are my deepest delight, I didn’t give up when all else was lost.”
If you are not certain about life, the Word of God redirects and strengthens you. Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (kjv). The Word paints a picture of how God wants you to live. If you’re not looking at the Word, you’re liable to have the wrong picture, the wrong vision for your life. You’re liable to get caught up in the hopelessness of this world and live a much lower life than God wants to provide for you.

The Bible isn’t just another book. It is God’s very being. You can’t separate Him from His Word. His Word is His bond. We definitely want to hide the Word of God in our heart so that we believe it more than we believe the temporary things going on all around us.
Prayer and Confession
I submit to the authority of your word, I am led and guided by its truths. Amen
