You’ve Got The Authority
Devotional Reading: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.James 4:7
Many believers are waiting and expecting God to act on their situation, they wait for God to do something concerning their challenges. And the irony is that God is waiting for them to act also.
A believer must consistently have the precise knowledge that he’s got devil under him. He’s got the authority over the power of darkness, and its activities. James said Resist the devil and he will flee from you. You are the one to do the resisting and not God. God has given you the authority you needed.
The Bible said you are seated in the heavens in Christ. Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: The word “together” means same place. It implies that where Christ is you are there in him. And in Eph 1:19-20, The Bible says Christ is above principalities and powers and dominion and might. So in Christ you are above them also.

In Matthew 16:19 it says “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
So, you’re the one who will speak to your situation and and put the devil to run and not God doing something about it – You have the authority, just speak to your challenges in the name of Jesus.
Prayer and Confession
