You Are What God Says You Are

Devotional Reading: “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:” Colossians 2:6

Emphasis on the realities of a new man in Christ is very important, the understanding of this brings you to constantly renew your mind with it. A man who sees himself less of what God has made him is walking in unbelief.

We are to mature in this realities till we are fully into it and our mind is conformed to it.. Paul told the church at Corinth that he feared their minds should not be corrupted away from the simplicity in Christ (2cor11:3) any words or message your hear that seems contrary to the reality of what Christ did on the cross for you and I is not the Gospel of Christ.

God has said; You are righteous (Romans 5:19; 2 Corinthians 5:21),you are not under any curses (Galatians 3:13). You have been blessed! Ephesians 1:3; 1 Peter 3:9, You have eternal life and will never partake of the second death (John 3:16; Rom. 6:4; Titus 1:2-3), Heaven is now your own and home – you are a citizen! (Phil 3:19-21). You have all of God’s power (Acts 1:8; Eph.3:20). You don’t pray or fast or sow for power or more anointing. You have been redeemed, forgiven, washed, cleansed, and sanctified (Acts 13:39; Rom. 4:25; 5:1; Gal.2:16; Eph.1:7; Col.1:14; Col.2:13; Titus 3:4-7). You are one with Christ, seated with Him in the heavenly places (Eph.2:4-6). You stand justified and blameless in His love (Eph.1:4).

To carry yourself less to this is to have your mind wondered about, and living a life God has chosen for you will be difficult. So choose to walk in this truth and have your mind renewed with this.

Prayer and Confession
