God Is Behind The Scene

Written by Emmanuel Kayode

Devotional Reading: “He called for a famine on the land of Canaan, cutting off its food supply. Then he sent Joseph as a slave to Egypt to save his people from starvation.” Psalms 105:16 & 17 TLB

In the movie industry, there are series of crew members who contributes to the success of the film production. However, many of such people do not have their faces projected to the public. The recent movie you saw, do you know who the light-men, continuity manager, and driver were? No. But, they had their impact.

So also is life, whether or not one is aware of it, the physical world is controlled by the spiritual and there are lots of behind the scene working for or against the individual, just as in the movie industry. The Psalmist revealed to us that it was the Lord Almighty himself who orchestrated the journey of Joseph into Egypt. What a great God; the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men, he knows the end before the beginning and directs the path of men.

I wouldn’t know what you are going through at the moment; whether good or not so good, please trust the love of God. This isn’t to say God is the one causing you pain, but to remind you that God knows all about it and He is more than able to make all things work for your good. That which you are going through might be an indication of a problem you’ve been empowered to be a solution to for others sake. So you can trust God, the all-powerful who is much more than a thousand crew members behind the scene.

Prayer and Confession
I believe everything is working for my good. Even when I do not understand the happenings around me, I choose to rely on His love.
