Understanding Jehovah Jireh 5

Devotional Reading: And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. Genesis 22:11-12

According to the text, we observe how the Angel of the Lord called out to Abraham when he had lifted up his knife to slay his son, telling him the result of his examination; this shows that Jehovah Jireh determines the time frame of the examination and will definitely communicate results when it has ended.

The testing of God is time bound, it’s not forever. He who set the exams is a master at communicating when the exam is over. The testing of God is towards a goal of making you, once it has been proven that you have been made in that aspect, he will close that chapter.

Are you going through a test right now that seems uncomfortable but you know it is Jehovah Jireh at work? Be patient in obedience, don’t quit, God knows and controls the timing. Your results will soom show.

Prayer and Confession
Father I thank you for the privilege to be trained and tested by you for my lifting. Grant me grace to be steadfast, knowing that you hold the times and seasons. I am confident that in due season my profiting will appear to all. I decree that I am not discouraged as I look unto Jesus the author and finisher of my faith. The nature and intent of God for my life is ever before my eyes. I am constantly focusing on Jesus.
