God Helps 2
Devotional Reading: So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” Hebrews 13:6 NLT
Sometimes for us to see a supernatural turn around in our situation, there is a need for us to give up on ourselves. By giving up I mean, acknowledge that you need a Higher power to step in.
Nothing supernatural comes through physical effort. Just like salvation, Scriptures says, for when the time was right, the Anointed One came and died to demonstrate his love for sinners who were entirely helpless, weak, and powerless to save themselves. Romans 5:6 TPT
The truth is God wants all out to help you out of that mess, pain weakness, debt without your input. Someone said, will I just sit down and just do nothing? Yes and No.
When God helps, He gives you specific instructions to do something that will eventually bring ease. Again just like salvation, He saved you, but yet gave you instructions to believe and be saved. When God helps, he looks beyond your good and bad to show you mercy and favour (Even before men).
The reason why he does not want your input from the beginning is So you may boldly say THE LORD IS MY HELPER, and not I and the Lord helped me.
All you need to do is ask for His help, and He will help. His help can come via your eyes been opened to an idea that take you out of that debt or cause your business to grow, or showing little kindness to someone that may eventually open a door for your favour or with His peace flooding your heart.
Just ask Him!
Prayer and Confession
Jesus, I can do nothing of my own volition, I want your help in my situation.
