Essence of Living

Devotional Reading: “Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”-: Matthew 2:2KJV

Nothing that was made either by God or man is without a purpose. When the use of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. This is to say, everything on planet earth that’s being abused is because man fail to understand its right use or we deny the knowledge of it.

In our text, the astrologers left all they were doing for days, weeks and probably months to journey into Jerusalem to worship the new born king. They worship Christ with their lives and all there is to it.

All through scriptures, when God’s people are attacked, on many occasion the desire of the enemy is for them to stop worshipping the Lord. Remember the Israelites in Egypt, in Babylon and other places. Your inability to be married, to give birth, to gain admission and all sorts are only a means to an end. They are an attempt to stop you from living a life of worship unto the Lord if you give in to the devils schemes.

Never forget that you are created for worship. Therefore, all that you do, should be as unto the Lord and to the praise of His holy name.

Prayer and Confession
I refuse to give in for the devils schemes attempted at making me to stop worshipping the Lord. Daily as I breathe, often as I live, my whole life is for the Lord. Amen
