Blessed are the Peacemaker

Devotional Reading: “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”- Matthew 5:9 KJV

A particular Christian couple have two sons who are identical twin. Oftentimes people find it hard to distinguish between them. Unfortunately, their character are opposite to each other, one is a trouble maker while the other is a peacemaker.

The one who solves problem is loved by everyone for that singular reason and he was favored by men as a result of that.
Just as both sons were children of the said couple and without mincing words, you are also a believer, filled with God’s Spirit, but can it be said of you to be a peacemaker? Peace is a fruit of the spirit and should be oozing out of you by default.

Importantly, you should be one who reconciles not just men to man, but man to God for you have been given the ministry of reconciliation.

Prayer and Confession
I am the son of the most high; the Prince of Peace. I am his ambassador, wherever I go, I reconcile men unto God.
