Engaging God’s Word

The human heart (mind) can be as hard as a rock, and our challenges can be just as tough. Though challenges are universal, they manifest differently for each individual. One person may be struggling with addiction, while another may be fighting a life-threatening illness. Another person may be facing business losses without any clear physical explanation.

Life is spiritual, and in the midst of these challenges, God has not left us alone. His word is our help, and in his word lies our victory. No challenge can withstand the power of God’s word. None.

So how do we engage with the ministry of God’s word? Through speaking. The word of God is an errand boy that is sent on errands. It’s not enough to just know the word; we must engage with it through speaking to profit from it. God created the world through speaking, and His word made us understand that He calls forth things that do not exist as though they were. The word in our mouths, as God’s children, is as powerful as it is in His mouth. He made it so. Amen.

Engaging with the word of God can take consistency, just like breaking a rock requires hitting it several times before it breaks. Consistency in engaging with the word determines how quickly the situation will completely succumb and be overwhelmed by the word. We need to speak the word over our lives, our situations, and our challenges repeatedly until we see a manifestation of God’s power.

So beloved of God, if you are facing a challenge or situation that seems impossible, remember that God’s word is powerful and will not return to Him void. Speak it out and declare it over your life until you see the manifestation of God’s promises in your life.

Prayer and Confession
God’s word in my mouth is as powerful as it is in God’s mouth. Speak that word to your self and your situations.
