Maintaining Good Relationships
By Kayode Emmanuel
Devotional Reading: “When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.” Luke 5:6-7 NIV
Whenever I hear people say, “All I need is God’s help and no human help or support is needed,” then I hear the voice of ignorance or a proud man. Yesterday, God revealed, how being attentive and obedient to God’s leading is a vital tool in experiencing a great turn around.
Today, God is calling your attention to another important factor that no one can do without, even if one is anointed to the teeth. For as long as we remain in the world, when a thing is settled in the spiritual, for its manifestation in the physical, a human factor will be empowered for its manifestation. Take for example, God needed a human body to birth the Lord Jesus Christ.
Imagine what could have happened if Simon and others in his boat after they experience multitude of fishes had no human help. The miracle probably might have been to their undoing. They signaled to their partners in other boat and even with that, they all had net breaking and boat sinking catch.
The answer to many of your prayers on being miraculously helped is oftentimes tied to your relationship. For so many funny reasons, you do not relate with anyone in your church, school, environment etc. It could be a tactic been used by the enemy to stop you from advancing in life for we all need somebody to lean on. Imagine the miracle of the water turned wine without the servants, the multiplied oil without the neighbor’s involvement, healing of Naaman without the young girl servant (John 2, 2Kings 4:4-5, 5:10-11)
Go today and build those broken relationship for you cannot tell which one will be of help to you.
Prayer and Confession: I am loveable, my life attracts destiny helpers all the time and I am blessed to be a blessing to my world. Amen
