God is Faithful
Isaiah 25:1
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
Life brings evolving and unstable changes or seasons that may allow one lose confidence in God. The devil also has a subtle way of using those difficult situations to paint God as one who is never consistent with what He promised in His word. The devil does this by making the situation we are passing through look unsolvable. But we know and we are certain that the devil is a liar and that is his nature.
Isaiah let us know that God’s counsels, His promises, His decrees which are from eternity are truly and faithfully performed. He points us to the fact that God can be trusted – He has no record of failure in keeping with His promises from generations to generations.
For the Believer, there is so much comfort in knowing this truth. It means we can confidently place our faith in the promises of God provided for us in the scriptures and that though life changes like shifting shadows, God’s word never changes and it is always true regardless of the current situation. So trust Him and trust His word.

I believe the Word of God is true and that God is faithful to keep His word.
