1 John 4:17

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Jesus life on earth (his earthly walk) is the perfect model of how the life of a typical believer should be on earth today. The Bible clearly spelt it out in reasonable details of how Jesus lived his life while on earth. So we are not left with a puzzle of imagining out of thin air how the life of Jesus looks like when God’s word says “as Jesus is, so we are in this world.” So in case you want to know in detail about the life of Jesus on earth; apart from the fact that it is boldly printed on your heart, it is also well documented in the Bible.

In thoughts, deeds and actions, your earthly walk as a believer should be patterned in the line of Jesus’. It is not as though you are trying to copy and live a life that’s not yours. No, you are copying the lifestyle of Jesus because you are of the same family with Him. His blood runs through your veins. For Jesus is our brother who at the same time is the author and perfecter of our faith. Hallelujah.

In other words, you are capable of living exactly like Jesus here on earth for you are carrying His life right on the inside of you. He is in you and you are in Him. You are “Jesus” on earth.

This is worth meditating upon and calls for you celebrating Jesus wherever you are. Sing to him and worship him.
