You are as Jesus is 5
1 John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
Your attitude matters a lot when you read about Jesus in the word of God, and one of the prayers that should be prominent in your private prayer life is that of seeing and knowing Jesus as He truly is, for in knowing Jesus you come to know your own very self and worth.
Whenever you read about Jesus being compassionate towards people who seemingly don’t deserve to be loved in the word of God, the first thing that should come to your heart is appreciating our Lord’s compassionate heart and also reminding yourself that that’s who you are too-a compassionate being, who should show compassion to all.
Whenever you read about Jesus being given to prayer, praying every now and then, doing vigils, don’t just stand in awe of Jesus’ strength and labours, let that serve as a reminder to you that you have those strength and compassion to labour in the place of prayer. You should be given to prayer too.
More so, whenever you read about Jesus flowing in the things of the spirit with so much ease; giving words of knowledge, words of wisdom, healing and doing miracles and so on, don’t just stand in awe of those, remind yourself that you have that ability in you too- and go out there replicating same.
The more you behold Him and see yourself in Him, in His shoes, the more easier and persuading it becomes living out boldly the Jesus life on earth too.
Get into the word of God, soak yourself deep in it and do the word. You will live to testify of the goodness of God.

CONFESSION
As Jesus is, so am I in this world
I am compassionate as He is
I heal, and flow in the things of the spirit with utmost ease
I am given to prayer.
