The Gift of Men 3
Devotional Reading: “Why is it that he gives us these special abilities to do certain things best? It is that God’s people will be equipped to do better work for him, building up the Church, the body of Christ, to a position of strength and maturity.” Ephesians 4:12 TLB
The church has diverse denominations due to so many reasons, but one faith, one Lord, and one spirit, this is to be remembered always. Jesus’ didn’t die so we could have various denominations but to bring us together as a body. However, in spite of our diversity, God expects us to be united.
Imagine for a moment if there were no denominations and we all worship under a single umbrella, possibly there will be some disadvantages, but you’ll believe with me that the good will outweigh the bad as everyone will be focused on the set goal, there’s no one to impress the other.

Both to the universal church or the local church, everyone has been given grace according to the measure of faith. It is now our responsibility to identify such gift of men and harness them for the growth of the church, to perfect the saints, to edify ourselves and importantly that we may all do the work of ministry.
You are divinely placed in your local assembly, whatever your gift is, it is never for your selfish use, you are a gift to the body of Christ just as everyone is. Work with other men with an humble heart so that the goal of the owner of the church; Jesus Christ will be achieved. You shouldn’t be the one causing disunity among brethren. Decide today to play your part well.
