The Efficacy of The Word 6
Devotional Reading: “The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.” 2 Timothy 3:16 TLB.
Many times when we are seated under certain ministrations, as the word comes from the Lord, we often think and believe the word is particularly meant for someone else who probably isn’t in the congregation. Such thought is a deception and it denies us of the full blessings of such message. Every word of God has the ability to teach us, and make us better even when it seems we are at our best.
The particular habit(s) you are struggling with; whatever nature it is, if only you will allow the infallible word of God to do its work in and on you, you’ll be amazed at the tremendous effect it will have. Read and meditate on the scriptures and live out what it says. Remember, you have been empowered, you have all it takes to live right by the presence of God’s spirit that dwells in you.
It’s the Word of God that tells us what is right or wrong, not the culture or our environment. Identify your area of weakness and determine to live out the scripture. God won’t do for you what the word already explained the how to overcome such situation. The Word of God straightens us out and helps us do what is right.
Prayer and Confession
The word of God has tremendous power, it helps me to live a godly life, a life above reproach.
