Trusting God’s Timing in Hardships

Devotional Reading: “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.” — Isaiah 60:22 (KJV)

Waiting on God’s timing can be challenging, especially when we desire immediate solutions. However, God operates on His perfect schedule, and His delays are not denials. When we trust His timing, we align ourselves with His divine plan.

The Bible reminds us that patience is a virtue. Abraham waited years for his promised son, and David endured years of trials before becoming king. Their stories teach us that God is never late—His timing is always precise.

Trusting in God’s timing requires surrender. Instead of forcing our way, we must rest in the assurance that He is working behind the scenes. He knows the end from the beginning and orchestrates everything for our good.

When we embrace patience, we grow in faith and character. We learn to lean on God’s wisdom rather than our understanding. By trusting in Him, we find peace and assurance in every season.

Prayer and Confession:

I trust in God’s perfect timing. I will not rush ahead or fall behind, but I will wait in faith, knowing He is working all things for my good.
