The War Between What God Said and What You See

Key Text: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV

There comes a stage where the circumstances around you looks like mocking what God told you. God said you will rise, but everything around you looks like you are reducing. God said increase, but expenses are increasing faster than income. This is the moment many believers do not talk about openly. This is where faith stops being church language and becomes survival. The truth most believers ignore is this: faith is not needed when things are working. Faith is only real when evidence is not cooperating.

The danger in this stage is not the problem itself. The danger is agreement. Whatever you agree with grows stronger in your life. If God says you are blessed but you keep saying “nothing is working for me,” you are strengthening what you are trying to escape.

Israel saw miracles but still spoke like slaves. They saw Red Sea open but still talked like Egypt was their landlord. Many believers today do the same. We believe God in prayer but cancel it with our mouth during conversation. Revelation gives direction, but agreement gives it power in your life.

Look at David. He was anointed king but went back to sheep. Imagine telling people, “I am the next king,” while carrying food to your brothers on the battlefield. It sounds funny but it is real life. Sometimes God announces your future before your environment changes.
You are the one that will choose God’s word against all odds.

Prayer and Confession
Father, help me stand on Your word even when my environment disagrees. I choose to agree with what You have spoken over my life. I walk by faith and not by what I see or feel. Your word is my reality. Amen.
