His Presence Brings Success
Exodus 33:14 TLB
And the Lord replied, “I myself will go with you and give you success.”
We have been discussing about the the presence of God, the reason is because the presence of God is the most important and indispensable thing in the life of a believer. Moses was convinced that without God’s presence in our life, it was useless for us to attempt anything. God’s presence with the nation of Israel made their life prosperous. In every of their dealings with other nations they are found to be successful.
Likewise, we have several instances in the scriptures as well that reveals that God’s abiding presence always prosper our ways.The Bible says, `The Lord was with Joseph and he prospered’ (Gen. 39:2). Again in verse 23, the Bible says that the LORD was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did. About David the Bible says, ‘He went on prospering and growing up and the Lord God of hosts was with him’ (2 Samuel 5:10). The Lord was with Hezekiah and wherever he went he prospered (2 Kings 18:7). The Lord was with Jehoshaphat and he had great riches and honour (2 Chro. 17:3, 5).
God’s presence is the greatest reality for the man in Christ because He is in him and with him by the power of the Holy Spirit. However, he needs to come to the acknowledgement of this truth, that the presence of God by the Holy Spirit brings prosperity ones way.
CONFESSION
I come to know that God’s presence brings me prosperity
I walk assuredly in the light of this truth
