Be Compassionate

By Roseline Shola
Devotional Reading: “and Jesus, when he came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So, He began to teach them many things” Mark 6:34KJV

We really need to start practicing the things we learn from the master. I mean, we are everyday recipients of these things so, it shouldn’t be too difficult to extend to others. Everyday of our lives, we always have people around us who need our help. We always meet people on our way to our work, school or wherever it is that we go to.

Don’t just look and pass (overlook), lend a hand to that person. A simple act of kindness goes a long way. Don’t say I experienced more than that before getting to this point. Don’t say the last person I helped paid me with evil. Have compassion on someone today, help them in your own little and see what joy it brings you.

Prayer and Confession
Lord, help me to show compassion on people as you are teaching me to. I refuse to turn blind eye to the people that need my help. Amen
