Now Faith Is

Hebrews 11:1 KJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Someone asked me, why do I keep on praying and not receiving, I said “because you keep on expecting or hoping you will receive, and didn’t believe you have received.” Faith isn’t hope neither is it an expectation to receive, rather faith is receiving without evidence. It is present tense.

Let’s examine Abraham, the scripture tells us that, “he against all hope believed in hope, that he my become the father of many nations.” (Rom. 4:18). In other words, when there was no reason for hope, that is when everything seems hopeless, he still believed what God said. The scriptures further tells us that he was not weak in faith, he did not consider the deadness of his body when he was about hundred years or the deadness of Sarah’s womb” vs19. Meaning, he didn’t hope he will have a child, he received and have the child even before the child came vs 20&21 says… “He was strong in faith, giving glory to God; been fully persuaded…”

You see that, you don’t hope to receive…  The believer is of faith,  that’s why he is called a ‘believer,’ he has no faith problem, he just must appropriate it.  God has accomplished all things for us in Christ. The believer doesn’t hope to be healed, he is already, he doesn’t hope he will be holy or righteous, he is already… In the same way you believe you have received things you prayed for. (Mark 11:24) In John 6:47 Jesus said “he that believes has eternal life”… See that, you don’t have later, you have the moment you believe.

So don’t hope to get, have faith, believe God’s Word, let the Word be real to you, let the Word let loose in you till you act it and it becomes a normal life. Never forget Faith is now, it is present.  Whenever you start saying, I have prayed, I know I will have, or I believe the Word, so I know I will be healed, it is no longer faith, it’s already hope, it put you in the future of expecting. So affirm that you have already what you prayed for, believe you already receive and have it.

CONFESSION

I believe what the Word says I am
I am a believer and not a doubter
The word is real to me. Amen!
