Being a Witness 3

Devotional Reading: “Now go ahead and do as I tell you, for I will help you to speak well, and I will tell you what to say.” Exodus 4:12 TLB

The proclamation of the Gospel has been placed in the hands of men, no other entity; spirit not even angels has the right to preach the gospel. And no one could get saved unless and until such fellow has heard the Gospel been preached, for the Bible says the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.

Beginning from chapter 3 of Exodus, God declared he had seen the oppression of his people and he has come to deliver them. However, the almighty needed a human vessel to be used for such a great task/mission that’s already accomplished in His mind. Then the call came on him; Moses to bring into reality that which God purposed. He came up with excuses of why he think he isn’t fit for the task just like many of us would do or are doing at the moment.

Jesus Christ left us with a message for the whole world, to tell the untold about His saving grace. This isn’t about ministerial offices, but about the heartbeat of God; that all men should be saved. Every believer has been handed over the ministry of reconciliation.

Arise today, put aside all excuses for you are saved to save others. Preach the gospel at all times; in your homes, schools, offices, neighborhood and never forget, He’s with you always and like he promised Moses in our opening text, He will give unto you exact words for each situation, words with the breathe of God. Arise, be intentional about Preaching the Gospel!

Prayer and Confession
God has not given me the spirit of fear. I henceforth take every excuses far away from me as I arise to preach the gospel of Christ everywhere I found myself. Amen!
