Dark Moments

Deuteronomy 31:6,8
Be strong and bold; have no fear or dread of them, because it is the Lord your God who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.

No one loves to be in the dark when there is a power shortage in the home, rather alternatives are made by sourcing for light. So also there is always the darkest hour in a believer’s life. The darkest hour differs as an individual. Even Christ Jesus experience His darkest hour in the garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:44).

The darkest hour are those times that looks as if God has forsaken us. It looks all good things turned against us, disappointments in marriage, job seeking, delay in child bearing, health deterioration, etc, and causing tears in the heart and weariness to the soul. The word of God says “tho crying may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5b)

You are not alone even in your darkest hour because the word says when you pass through waters, He is right there with you.. (Isaiah 43:2). Christ was strengthened during His darkest hour(Luke 22:43). God cannot take you far and forsake you at the mid of the way. So in your darkest hour, hold on to Him, don’t give up and see that He is able to do exceedingly far more than you can think or imagine.
