Getting God Involve

Psalm 37:5
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

We have a tradition in our home which I believe is prominent in all Christian homes. The tradition that at any point we are leaving the house we are to pray for safety, and God’s protection. We got so conscious of this that even when parents aren’t there we have it in-built in us to pray.

This illustration above is a typical explanation of what the book of psalms is saying “commit your ways to the Lord and he shall direct your part”. The Contemporary English Version (CEV) renders it has “Let the Lord lead you and trust him  to help you.” Believers should not do anything outside the leadings of the Spirit. The Spirit of God dwells in us to lead us on everyday’s activity.

Most times, we forget to involve God in what we do, the writer of the book of proverbs also buttress David saying “commit to the Lord what ever you do and He shall establish your plans” (16:3).

Believers must take full advantage of the Spirit led life by allowing God  get involve even in the little things, and surely it saves you a whole lot of stress trying to fulfill your plans yourself.

CONFESSION

I’m not sufficient of myself
My absolute trust is in you God
And I’m continually led by the Holy Spirit in all my activities
Amen
