The Believer’s Manual

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” 

Spiritual growth is something a believer must be deliberate about. Growth doesn’t just come without its basic requirement. It is required of a child to feed more on food required to make him grow and be strengthened. 

Likewise, the tool for the believers growth is by the daily appreciation of his desire to feed on the word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. (NLT)

The believers manual for spiritual nourishment is the word of God. You must be ready to feed on it often, for it will prevent you from teachings that blind people from the reality of God’s grace. Have a ready and devotional attitude to reading your Bible… Feed on it. The psalmist says, the word is a lamp that gives guidance and a light that gives direction.
