Unending Love
Romans 5:8
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”.
Everyone that exists on planet earth was born a sinner, this is as a result of the human nature we all carry. In the real sense of it, we are not sinners because we sins, rather we sin because we are sinners. Man was separated from God because of Adam’s disobedience, sin then gained dominion over man’s soul ever since.
God had so much love for mankind and provided a way of reconciling us back to himself, this was possible at the fullness of time, he sent his only begotten son; Jesus Christ to die for our sins. At the point he died for us, there was nothing in us that qualified us for his love aside for his love towards us.
As believers who have received the life and nature of God, whatever we do henceforth in our relationship with God and man should be in response to God’s unfathomable and unending love.
CONFESSION
I am rooted in the love of God
His love is shed abroad in me
I do not take God’s love for granted
