Count it all Joy 2

James 1:2 KJV

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Many of us out of sheer sincerity have gotten it twisted and we have attributed our unfavourable circumstances to God claiming that God has brought those circumstances unto us and is using them to teach us life lessons.

You know, sometimes, some believers experiencing delay in child bearing are some times made to believe that it’s not yet God’s time for them to have the fruit of the womb. They somehow think God is the one responsible for their inability to have a child yet because they’ve prayed and prayed to Him. Some persons after putting due efforts in some of their pursuits have experienced difficulties and failure a number of times, hence, they begin to have the notion that perhaps God is the cause of their failures. Nothing can be farther from the truth. Many factors (Father God excluded) are responsible for the unfavourable circumstances which stands as trials in our lives.

Get the point beloved, when God’s word says “count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations,” that does not suggest that God is the factor behind your unfavourable circumstances. No, not at all. You see Jesus said in John 10:10TPT that “A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow!” Can you see that? That tells you God will never be a part to you experiencing evil or facing trials in life. The truth is, God doesn’t need to test and try you. He knows you and what you are capable of doing.

The point is, just as it has been made clear that other factors(God excluded) are responsible for the unfavourable circumstances that pose as trials in our lives, God is always on the helping side with our cooperation seeing to it that we get delivered from our troubles. Remember, God’s word says in … that many are the affliction of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all.

Dearly beloved, as you cooperate with God in the process of Him delivering you from your trials, His ability inside you to persevere despite difficulties is being revealed. Infact you even get to learn more experiencially and become more matured in this life. So always count it joy. Don’t because of this deliberately run yourself into to troubles, but when they come don’t be dismayed. Be joyful, never allow anything take away your joy for your joy is not dependent on circumstances.
