Joy; A Litmus Test

Devotional Reading: “Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy.” 1 Peter 1:8 AMP
We live in a world full of diverse forms of persecution as a result of one’s faith in Christ. Also, achievements varies from person to person, probably due to various factors, such as; education, environment, and family background, what have you. There exist the poor and the rich, literate and illiterate, people of varying color all over the earth.
Also, there exist two kinds of persons and this has nothing to do with any of the earlier mentioned factors. Those who have an inexpressible joy resident in them and those who do not have such Joy in them. The latter, even with wealth, affluence, high level of education and connection still desires a better life which oftentimes cannot be explained. While, those with the inexpressible joy has it whether or not other things are present.
Everyone born of human was born alienated from God due to the sin of one man; Adam and therefore death passed unto everyone (Romans 5:19) This has nothing primarily with the sins you commit or how good you seem to be, you became a sinner by birth. “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”- Romans 5:17
Check through your heart sincerely; are you experiencing the inexpressible joy. If your reply is a No, what you need is a Savior. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9
Give Jesus a chance in you. This life and joy is better experienced than explained.
Prayer and Confession
The joy of the Lord is resident in me and I exhibit it everywhere and always, regarded of life situations and circumstances.
