Pillars of Prosperity: Faith

Devotional Reading: “Without faith it is impossible to please God…” Hebrews 11:6

Prosperity also starts with faith, not funds. If you’re waiting to have money before believing in your future, you’ve got it backward. Faith is how we download heaven’s resources into our reality. Hebrews 11:6 says without faith, it’s impossible to please God. Meaning that God is not impressed by your work or labour alone, He’s moved by your trust in Him.

Think of Peter. One moment he’s in a boat, the next he’s walking on water. Why? Faith. He stepped out because Jesus said, “Come.” He didn’t overthink it, send out a risk analysis report, or ask Thomas to test the waters first. He believed, stepped out, and boom—history was made. Was it scary? Yes. Did he wobble? Sure. But faith got him out of the boat while the others just watched.

Here’s the thing, faith doesn’t mean being reckless or unrealistic. It means hearing God’s word, believing it, and acting on it. That’s how Noah built a boat with no rain, how Sarah gave birth at 90, and how you’ll launch that business or get that breakthrough even when your bank account is “speaking in tongues.” Faith says, “I don’t see it yet, but I believe God more than I believe this bank alert.”

So, what’s the next step for you? Apply for that course. Pitch that idea. Sow that seed. Write that proposal. Start where you are, use what you have, and trust God for what you don’t yet see. Don’t wait till it’s perfect before you move, just move in faith. God meets you where you move.

Prayer and Confession
I walk by faith, not by fear. I believe big, I start small, and I take action now. God is with me, so I step out with boldness. What I don’t have now, I’ll meet on the journey. My faith makes things happen!
