Look And Be Saved

By Roseline Shola
Devotional Reading: “and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death of the cross” Philippians 2:8 KJV

The price of salvation was paid over 2000 years ago by Jesus, the Christ. He was hung upon the tree (cross). He bore the curse, the insults, the beating, suffering and even the death on our behalf.

The Israelites in the old testament misbehaved and the Lord sent serpents amongst the people and everyone that got bitten by the serpent died. They realized their mistake and cried to God for Mercy, Moses also prayed for them then the Lord asked Moses to make a brass serpent and everyone bitten by the snake who looks up to the serpent will live. This they did and were all saved.

In this same light, Jesus has been lifted for us and everyone who looks to him and confesses him shall be saved. The bible says in John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them he gave the power to become the sons of God.”

Prayer and Confession
Thank you Jesus for saving me. Hallelujah
