Applying the Blood Through Testimony

Devotional Reading: Revelation 12:11 – “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…”

This is one of the most overlooked ways to apply the blood—through your testimony. A testimony is not just sharing what God did last year; it is declaring what the blood of Jesus means for you right now. The blood already defeated Satan, but the victory is activated when you open your mouth and testify.

Testifying is not optional, it is spiritual warfare. When the enemy accuses you with shame or fear, you overcome not by arguing with him but by testifying. You declare: “By the blood of Jesus, I am justified. By the blood, I am protected. By the blood, I am free.” Every time you speak it, you are spraying spiritual “insecticide” on the devil’s lies.

Sadly, many believers prefer to keep quiet or focus on testifying about their problems instead of Christ’s finished work. But the victory doesn’t flow from rehearsing the devil’s attacks; it flows from rehearsing the blood’s power. If your testimony is filled with fear, you strengthen the enemy. If it is filled with the blood, you weaken him.

Think of it this way, you can own a powerful ATM card, but unless you enter your PIN, you won’t access your funds. Your testimony is the PIN that activates the power of the blood in your life. Don’t just think it, say it. Declare it in your home, at your job, in your battles, and over your future.

Prayer and Confession
Lord, I choose to testify of the blood of Jesus. I declare that by His blood, I am forgiven, justified, protected, and victorious. No accusation or attack can stand against the power of the blood in my life.
