Learn to Draw, Not Just Possess

Key Text: “Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” Isaiah 12:3 (NKJV)

Imagine having millions of naira sitting safely in your bank account while you keep telling everyone you are broke because you have never made a withdrawal. The money is genuinely yours, but until you access it, it cannot improve your life. Many believers treat the Holy Spirit that way. They have received the greatest deposit God could ever give, yet they live as though they have no wisdom, no strength, and no help because they have never learned to draw from what is already within them.

The Holy Spirit is not meant to be admired from a distance. He is meant to be depended upon every day. Before an important meeting, ask Him for wisdom. Before responding to an offensive message, ask Him for self control. Before studying, serving, preaching, or making a decision, pause for a moment and say, “Holy Spirit, I draw upon Your wisdom and strength.” Every time you do this in faith, you are lowering your bucket into the well that God has already placed within you.

Notice that Isaiah says we draw with joy, not with fear or anxiety. Many people approach life already expecting the worst. They worry before the interview starts, panic before the examination, and surrender before the battle begins. Faith does the opposite. It smiles because it knows there is an endless supply within. When you consciously draw from the Holy Spirit, you stop reacting like someone who has nothing and begin living like someone who carries heaven’s unlimited resources everywhere.

Prayers and Confession
Father, thank You because Your Spirit lives within me as an endless supply of grace and power. I choose to draw daily from the wisdom, strength, peace, and direction that You have deposited in me. I declare that I will not live by fear or human ability. I live by the abundant supply of the Spirit, and my life produces visible results for God’s glory. Amen.
